Activated carbon is currently used extensively for industrial, commercial, and domestic purposes and has produced notable outcomes. However, as adsorption saturation replaces activated carbon, the user units discard, bury, or burn it, wasting resources and harming the environment. Restoration of environmental pollutants.
Due to the physical nature of activated carbon adsorption, high-temperature steam can also be used to remove impurities from used activated carbon, reactivate it, and fulfil the goal of recurrent use. This has obvious financial advantages.
Activated carbon that has been recycled can still be utilised for its original function and constantly recycled.
The heat regeneration method, which is the most popular and well-established activated carbon regeneration method in industry, is employed in the activated carbon regeneration equipment made in our factory. According to the transformation of organic matter at various temperatures during the regeneration process of dehydrated activated carbon, it is typically separated into three stages: drying, high-temperature carbonization, and activation. The volatile elements on the activated carbon are primarily eliminated during the drying process. A portion of the organic matter adsorbed on the activated carbon is boiled, vaporized, and desorbed during the high-temperature carbonization stage. Another portion of the organic material goes through a breakdown reaction to produce small molecule hydrocarbons.
The temperature will reach 800โ900ยฐC at this point. In a water-vapor-rich environment, activated carbon combines with the vapor to burn off some of the carbon, reopen the micropores, and activate the material.
To meet exhaust emission standards, the exhaust gas produced during the regeneration of activated carbon is treated using secondary combustion, dry/semi-dry/wet washing, dust removal, and other techniques that can remove harmful organic matter, nitrogen oxides, acids, and dioxins.
